DAAS is an American contemporary artist living between Japan and the USA.
DAAS graduated with a degree in commercial art / graphic design in Clearwater, Florida where he maintains a studio while in the US. He has painted since a young age and has been a professional muralist since 2001.
His work and murals have been exhibited worldwide in countries such as; China, Japan, Nepal, Jordan, Canada, Dominican Republic and the United States.
DAAS produces paintings that combine cubist and abstract elements into recognizable portraits of humans, animals and insects.The angles and lines of his works are reminiscent of origami folds.
They utilise a distinguishable array of color combinations. He is currently at Jardin Orange for one month and is focusing on portraying several well-known endemic Chinese species, particularly endangered ones, on canvas.
